NO DATE..MON, FEB. 2?

Hey, Y'all,

Guess what? More bragging, that's what.

First, our SDI is really strict, and several of the recruits were lucky and got an "average" on their overall grade. Most of them got "below average" or "unsatisfactory". Since I failed the first SDI inspection (see post Jan. 26) I'm only down on paper as "average" but after my re-inspection, the SDI reported me "above average in uniform, excellent on arms manual and rifle work, above average in hygene, and a bonus for confidence :) I would've recieved the highest score of the platoon!! (had it not been for the initial snafu).
We also had our first 3 mile run and I came in 1st, 1.40 minutes ahead of 2nd place with a time of 22.20! Oh, YEAH!! 1.20 mins from max-0ut, Dad! :)
We also did the gas chamber, and it didn't bother me because I followed the instructions, but some of the girls went CRAZY. They let the gas in their masks and had snot and slobber spewing out from EVERYWHERE. It was pretty funny. (only R. would find this funny...go online and check out what this 'gas chamber' experience is like)
I saw (?) with who I think is his GF, (she's fat, and fat is starting to tick me off.) (common among "the mean, lean.."! )
OK, well a short letter for now, write back soon.
xoxoxo Gotta go, big day tomorrow.
