MAR. 8

Hi!
Guess what?
10 days till the Crucible! I'm kind of nervous because the tendon in my left foot/calf is killing me, and I can barely run. (PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS TO HEAL) I just pray it gets better, and I'm going to try to ice it at night.
It's getting hot now, and the bugs are out.:) Senior said that if I can match her PFT score of 300 at the final PFT next week, she'll give me a phone call to "Jody" (that's what she calls everybody's boy-friends). I've GOT to get a 21:00 on the 3 mile run, and that's it. Just 1 minute to cut off, and I think I can do it if my ankle heals.
We ran the combat endurance course yesterday and I've never been more muddy in my life. DI SSgt. A. (Buffy) calls it "home-made camo.
This week we get a bunch of safe-sex/pregnancy classes and get our dress blue uniform tailored. I look forward to only one of the above. :(>
We're getting another DI tomorrow, DI Sgt W. and she's been a DI longer than any female DI serving on Parris Island. We've heard that she's pretty crazy. We'll see.
Oh, when you come to get me, can you bring that dress I gave to Lilly, (if she still has it). The vintage one w/ the tight bodice and big blue flowers on it? I'd like to wear it the next day if that's OK. And my Rainbows.
Not much else to write now, but I love you guys and C U SOON.
Rct. Beck :)
